Helping leaders achieve bold ambitions and unleash their potential

Great leaders don’t just deliver results.

Great leaders invest in their own growth. Great leaders are ambitious for the impact they can have. Great leaders want to make a positive mark on the world.

The challenge: even great leaders may struggle to adapt to new leadership challenges. To overcome old habits that no longer serve them well. To see how their own mindsets limit them from achieving their full potential.

I bring over 15 years experience as a senior executive, leadership and talent development expert, and coach to help leaders:

Get clear and be bold about their professional (and personal) aspirations

Take a hard look at what holds them back, including the limiting mindsets that they may not even be aware of

Apply the science of behavior change and personal transformation to sustainably change the way they operate

Inspire others by becoming a more inspiring version of themselves

My passion is unlocking potential in others—providing the spark that ignites new possibilities for leaders to develop into the fullest version of themselves.

As a Partner at McKinsey & Company, I helped executives design and implement large scale transformations of their business. My specialty was applying the science of mindset and behavior change to ensure that changes would stick over time.

As McKinsey’s Chief Learning Officer, I was responsible for developing and executing the strategy for leadership development for over 30,000 colleagues globally, and led a diverse team of 300 professionals.

I have had the privilege to study with some of the world’s leading experts on coaching and human development, including Julio Olalla, Thomas Hübl, and Amy Fox. Their wisdom has informed my own approach to coaching and developing executives. In addition to over a decade of study with these and other masters, I have completed extensive training as a coach, and am certified by both the Newfield Network and the International Coaching Federation.

Finally, as a husband and father, I understand that success in life means more than maximizing performance at work, and know firsthand the pressures that leaders face in finding the balance that works for all aspects of their life.

WARNING: My style of coaching is not for everyone.

If you are looking for some quick tips and tricks to get more efficient…I am not the coach for you.

If you are looking for some nice discussions to validate what you are already doing…I am not the coach for you.

If you’ve been told by your company to “go get a coach” but don’t feel any real desire to change…I am not the coach for you.

If, on the other hand:

  • You are a leader who is motivated to make material and lasting changes to how you lead
  • You are willing to put in the hard and sometimes uncomfortable work of confronting your own blind spots
  • You want to work with someone who will challenge you and push you outside your comfort zone

…then let’s talk.
